Refund Policy

The guarantee

Every Fixly license comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you ask for a refund within 14 days of the purchase date, we issue it in full — the whole $9.99, plus any tax that was charged on top.

No questions are asked. “It didn’t do what I hoped”, “it’s slow on my machine”, and “I changed my mind” are all sufficient. Telling us what went wrong helps us fix it, but it is not a condition of the refund.

How to ask

Email info@fixly.cc with the subject “Refund”. Tell us the email address you used at checkout, or paste the order number from your receipt — either one lets us find the purchase.

We reply within two business days. Once the refund is issued, your payment provider usually returns the money to your card within 5 to 10 business days; the exact timing is theirs, not ours.

What happens to your license

A refunded license key stops working, and any device slots it was using are released. Please uninstall the app from your machines. Anything Fixly wrote for you along the way is yours and stays with you — it never left your computer, so there is nothing for us to take back.

After 14 days

Past the 14-day window we're not obliged to refund, but we would rather you weren't stuck with something you can't use. If the app is broken on your hardware, if an update stopped it working, or if you were charged twice or by mistake, write to us anyway — we'll sort it out, and we do make exceptions.

Two things we can't refund: a license that has been shared publicly or resold, and a purchase where the request is plainly an attempt to keep using the app for free after repeated refunds.

Try before you buy

Fixly runs unrestricted for seven days before it asks for a key, on the same machine and the same documents you'd really use it on. That trial is the best way to avoid needing this page at all — every feature is available during it, and it needs no card and no account.

Payments and your statutory rights

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They appear on your statement, they issue the invoice, and refunds are processed through them. Their own terms apply to the transaction alongside this policy.

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. Because Fixly is downloadable software delivered immediately, that right can lapse once delivery begins with your consent — but this policy gives you the same 14 days regardless, so you are never worse off. Nothing here limits any consumer right you hold under your local law.

Chargebacks

Please email us before opening a dispute with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee, takes months to resolve, and gets you your money more slowly than just asking us would. We have never refused a refund inside the window.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy for future purchases; the version in force is the one published on the day you bought your license, and the effective date is at the top of this page.
